Pacific Rim Undergraduate Experiences (PRIME) Information Session January 12th

PRIME 2012 Information Session

The Pacific Rim Undergraduate Experiences (PRIME) program will hold an information session for summer 2012 activities on Thursday 12 January 2012, 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Natural Science Building (NSB) auditorium.

PRIME is an international research and cultural experience that prepares students for the global workplace in the 21st century. Students accepted into this program will have the opportunity to conduct research in one of several areas (including computer science, bioengineering, biological sciences, visualization, cyberinfrastructure, …), work with researchers at UCSD, and undertake their project with international researchers at an advanced institution on the Pacific Rim, in locations including Australia, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.

At the information session you will hear from the program directors about the program and application process, from UCSD mentors about the opportunities, and from former PRIME students about the experience from their perspective.

We look forward to seeing you there. Please feel free to share this note with friends and colleagues. For more information, see prime.ucsd.edu.
