BSSA WINTER EVENTS

The Biological Sciences Student Association has teamed up with the Division of Biological Sciences to bring you the following events this week:

What: Darwin Day
When: 7-9pm, Tuesday, February 7th
Where: NSB Auditorium
Why: Come mingle with esteemed Professor Christopher Willis as he gives a talk on Darwin’s impact on evolutionary theory. FREE CAKE and BOOK RAFFLE!

What: General Body Meeting
When: 7pm, Wednesday February 8th
Where: York 3010
Why: Listen to Dr. Armour talk about presenting yourself as a COMPETITIVE APPLICANT for MEDICAL school, PHARMACY school, and other professional schools. BSSA will also be announcing some AMAZING upcoming events and how you can get more involved in the org! Free PIZZA!

What: Mentor-Mentee Info Session
When: 6:30-7:30pm, Friday, February 10th
Where: NSB Lobby
Why: If you’re interested in mentoring a biology student or being mentored by an experienced biology student (FRESHMEN and SOPHOMORES, this one’s for you!) find out how you can apply to BSSA’s mentor-mentee program.
