Dear Biology Undergraduate Student,
Have you wondered if undergraduates can serve as a TA in the Division of Biological Sciences?
Are you interested in earning academic credit (in some cases applicable toward major requirements) as an Undergraduate Instructional Apprentice (commonly referred to as a TA) while enrolled in BISP 195, Introduction to Teaching Biology?
Did you know that students who successfully complete one quarter of BISP 195 are eligible to be paid for TA service as an Undergraduate Tutor if selected for positions in subsequent quarters?
If you have at least a 3.00 GPA, 90 completed units by the end of the Fall 2012 Quarter, and will be a registered UCSD Undergraduate student in the Winter 2012 Quarter, BISP 195 Undergraduate Instructional Apprenticeship may be for you!
