iGEM UCSD is currently seeking self-motivated, creative undergraduates to partake in synthetic biology-oriented research, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of undergraduates, graduates, and Bioengineering faculty to create a project to present at this year’s competition.
iGEM – the International Genetically Engineered Machine – is an annual student competition hosted by MIT for the advancement of synthetic biology, providing a unique research experience to its entrants at their respective institutions. This year, UCSD will send a team of undergraduates to represent our institution on an international level.
*NO PRIOR RESEARCH EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.*
The team will be hosting an informal information seminar late next week, time and date TBD. There, we will provide a description of our project and hold a Q&A session to answer any questions that you may have.
