About the Course
This course presents an integrated introduction to the structure and function of cells, tissues, and
organs of the human body. Systems covered will include the musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory,
respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. The functional properties of the human body
will be analyzed from the molecular level to the entire organism. This is a two part course consisting of
Lecture and Wet Lab. All sections below have same Lecture schedule. Student needs to enroll in
section with the Lab schedule of their preference.
Special Notes: Students are required to supply their own lab coat and safety glasses. Proper lab attire
is required at all times. No open toe shoes, no open skin below waist and no tights or nylon leggings.
This Course does not fulfill upper division lab requirements for UCSD Biology majors.
