Summer Gross Anatomy Academy at UC Irvine

Between June 20th and July 29th, the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology will be hosting an anatomy academy at UC Irvine to teach pre-med, pre-dental, and pre-allied health students clinical anatomy  through a combination of lecture and cadaver dissection laboratories. In addition to providing students with clinically relevant knowledge about the human body, the unique experience of performing their own dissections will give them a leg up during their first year of professional school when they take this challenging “rite of passage” course. Having completed our course, all participants will be eligible to receive a letter of recommendation for their professional school applications from the course director, Dr. Jamie Wikenheiser.
