We are excited to announce that the University of California Natural Reserve System has partnered with the National Park Service to offer summer internships at the Pt. Reyes National Seashore in Marin County! There are four internship positions available, one each in the fields of wildlife ecology, range/vegetation ecology, dune restoration and rare plants, and archaeology. These internships will provide hands-on training to UC undergraduates and recent graduates and offer valuable exposure to careers in natural and cultural resource management.
The internships will begin in May or June 2017, depending on the selected candidates’ availability, and will continue for 11.5 weeks. The internships are full-time positions with a pay rate of $13/hr. No-cost dorm style housing may be available at the park. Please view job posting below.
The application deadline is March 1, 2017.
