Animal Research Technician in the Mullen Lab at USC

The Mullen Lab in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, and the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, at USC is looking for a full-time animal Research Technician to join their creative and dynamic research team. The Mullen Lab is focused on investigating how whole-body metabolism affects longevity, viral infections, and immune responses.


Potential candidates are enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who will work closely with the principal investigator. This position will involve working with animals, and the ideal candidate must have experience performing in vivo experiments and harvesting multiple organs.

Experience with molecular biology, metabolomics, and coding is preferred but not required. The Research Technician will also be responsible for routine lab maintenance and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations.

This position is full time and is ideal for a recent graduate who wants to spend 1-2 years gaining research experience prior to graduate or medical school.
